Anise, peppermint, and lavender:
Make a tea with anise, peppermint and lavender. The amounts of each herb should be equal when mixing them together. The amount of acid in your stomach will be reduced by drinking this mixture. Here is how you will make an infusion of this tea:
* boiling 2 ½ cup distilled water
* pour this water over a teaspoon of the herbal mixture
* let this tea sit for 3- 5 minutes
* strain the tea and add a little bit of honey if you like
* place this tea in a thermos
Now drink up to 8 oz in the morning and 8 oz in the evening to get relief from heartburn.
Aniseed or anise:
This powerful herb helps in digestive conditions and brings many other benefits for your body. Only the ash-colored anise called green anise should be used. Star anise and caraway, the other two types of anise, should not be used here.
Peppermint:
Another powerful herb, peppermint helps in stomach distension, digestion, cramps, gas, and ulcers.
Lavender:
Lavender is an excellent stomach aid and known for its scent as having enormous healing activity for your body. Acid in the stomach can be pretty much reduced by its use.
Chicory Root:
Bitter herbs that contain escarole and endive are the origins of chicory root. For 5 to 10 minutes, boil 1 ½ cup of chicory root. This tea should be drunk after it colds to room temperature.
Adding these herbs to your salad will also have benefits in preventing heartburn.
